Clifford, I have only read the first six pages of your book on Amazon. It is good to see people writing what they know about. I think you should read a little bit more books about Africa, then you might have an idea of what makes good writing. I recommend 'Emma's War' by Deborah Scroggins or 'The Man With the Key has Gone' by Ian Clark. Your writing is a little trite I am sorry to say. The Gregory Blackwood character is obviously based on yourself, so you sound pompous when you say 'For Greg, though, this was a symbolic moment. This office represented his status as a Headmaster of an International School'. Cringe!

I see you are published by Trafford. How much did they charge you? They can be very expensive to publish with.

There are grammatical and spelling mistakes in your profile. Very bad for a teacher!
