I created "Corky Eckelsbriar" after realizing that my childhood was unusual and full of lessons for the 3rd through 7th grader. It is all true, with a few liberties taken for interest. I started A Cappella Publishing because I didn't want to wait to find a publisher who would publish my book. Music is a huge part of my family's life and since I was self publishing, the name fit. (A Cappella means 'unacompanied')I do free assemblies at schools teaching about the Writing Process with a powerpoint presentation, and empowering all children to write!
