Once upon a time, I was a Vanderbilt University engineering student who landed a job writing for the Nickelodeon cable series, You Can't Do That On Television. I wrote nine complete episodes of the show, and did rewrite work on several others while on the set as the "script doctor" in the summer of 1985.

These days, I've turned to writing novels for middle-grade readers. My first book, Liberty Girl, came out in 2005, and was followed by The Real Life Channel in 2006. My third book, Lunar Pioneers, comes out this year.

Meanwhile, by day I'm the Quality Assurance Manager for Raypak, Inc., a maker of pool heaters and commercial boilers and water heaters. I'm also in my 15th season as a member of Canterbury Choir at All Saints Church, Pasadena CA.
