I write fiction, both picture books and middle grade novels. And I do adore a good series! You can play with the main characters as if they were your close friends. I remember being upset in fifth grade when I found out Margaret Mitchell hadn't written a sequel to GONE WITH THE WIND and I wouldn't get to spend anymore time with Scarlett! Drat! Hannah and Jack is my all-time favorite kid and cat book. A must read for all cat-lovers (kids and adults, too)!

I saw the cover of Hannah and Jack and immediately thought of my Beeper. She was so much a part of my life that it nearly killed me when she died. My writing is dedicated to her memory. It's nice to meet another member of JacketFlap. Thanks for adding me!
