David Michael Slater is the author of sixteen award-winning picture books and the on-going six-part controversial teen series, SACRED BOOKS. The series is being developed for film by Producer Kevin Bannerman (Lion King/Curious George). FUN & GAMES, a novel for adults was released July 20th, 2013. David Michael Slater's The Sacred Books Trilogy is multi-leveled. For some it's a 'fun' read, for others it's a 'thrilling' read, and yet for others it goes beyond all of that. What an amazing brouhaha over your books, David. It's kind of cool, actually--I'd love to write something that someone thought ought to be censored just because freedom of thought and expression is so important to me. Plus, it really should help book sales! :-) Anyone else have thoughts?
