About Trudie
I'm a children's writer from Tropical North Queensland in Australia. My first picture book, I've Lost My Kisses was released in May 2007.It's the story of a kiss-loving cow called Matilda Rose. She loses her kisses on the day that her grandfather comes to visit and must hunt high and low to find them before he arrives. I have also written a chapter book and some poems and articles. Huge huge congratulations on 'Kisses' winning the NAPPA honour award in the US - and very well deserved. It's been number 1 on my local A&R bookstore's top 20 display for months.
