Hey Shadra,
Just checked out the trailer for Bird - it's amazing. Looks like a really beautiful, honest book, and your paintings are so right for it. I love what you've done with the page layout too - that spread of Bird drawing, and the one of his big brother tagging - they're really dramati... more

Yes we did!!!!!!!!!!!!! So exciting. We are so emotional over this win, probably because it's bittersweet that it's taken so long, and by this election we of all races see we are included as Americans, and those of us who felt left out 'can put down our suitcases'. Great song too, from The Wiz.

Hey Shadra, Thanks for the comments on the blog. I can see how addictive it's going to be! But it will make me less lazy and keep up the drawing skills. illustrating the whole time makes one forget the rudiments at times.

Take care, all the best, Aaron.
