I am a published author, Print on Demand. I am looking for an illustrator for several of my books. The catch is; that no payment until book is accepted. If illustrations meet equal written pages the results would be 4% of my 10% . If illustrations are only a few, a 2% royalty from my 10% royalty paid.
I am afraid that authors do not get highly paid.
