BREWSTER--Gregory A. Manach, 61, died Dec. 18 of complications from Mesothelioma. He was the husband of Elizabeth Battelle for 37 years.
Mr. Manach was born in New York City, the son of the late Gladys Cosmetto of Rye, N.Y. and Manuel Manach of Cuba. He attended the school systems of Rye, N.Y. and Lincoln College in Illinois. He served in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Manach worked as a butcher, having recently retired from East Orleans Deli. He was a sports official for soccer, basketball, and softball for many years in the Cape and Islands School systems.
He was a member of the Highlander Organization as well as the Academy of Performing Arts past productions. He was an avid fisherman.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Ethan of Wellfleet, Nena Tobin of Brewster, and Travis, of Santa Barbara, Calif
