Welcome to Jacketflap. I'm also a children's book author. Rejection letters are a part of the process--believe me I've had my share. Don't ever let it get you down, just take it for what it is worth and keep going. It's hard to find a publisher, especially, in this economy. My two stories titled, PADDLE TAIL and PADDLE TAIL'S FIRST WINTER ADVENTURE are chapterbooks. Most publishers, now, are afraid to take on any more authors. What I do while waiting for a reply from publisers, is write another book.
