If you can believe it, after seeking a school in the south, because I've always been sensitive to the cold, I ended up transferring to Goddard College, in Vermont, for most of my undergraduate studies and for my Masters...isn't that ironic?! As a young adult it was okay, but as I get older, I have less patience for feeling like I'm hibernating.

Do your childhood experiences living above a funeral home inform your stories at all?
