I got the book last night and I've read it twice so far! I love it! Such great, personal details. I can imagine a real-life Emma pouting about her bagel trips, especially when she accuses her mother of getting exasperated by her questions. (I don't have the book with me right now, and I didn't want to butcher the quote.)

The experience you had with your mother's cancer really shows; how wonderful that you were able to take something from that hard time in your family's history and make it into something so timeless.

Is the "dance partner" line something that your mother really said?
