I write young adult novels, picture books, and poetry collections. I also anthologize teen writing and love to make math creative and sassy. My latest books are Zero Is the Leaves on the Tree, Pond Circle, and Metamorphosis, Junior Year, which was a family collaboration. My son Tom illustrated it, and my actor sons James and Dave read the audio book (available in fall 2010). Being an actor and writing sketch comedy and screenplays definitely helps my children's book writing.
