As a teacher, I thought you’d like to know about a new blog called The Picnic Basket (www.thepicnic-basket.com) that offers sample children’s and YA books to teachers and librarians for reading and reviewing. We send free books; you tell us what you think. It’s a wonderful way to share comments with your colleagues – and hear from them what’s working (and isn’t) with their young readers.
