Not having chlidren of my own, I made sure to be part of my nieces and nephews lives. Living in a small town doesn't afford one the most opportunities for studio or commerical art, so other than the occassional stone piece in local shows, I've used my art degree to entertain all the wonderful chidren in my life. I co own a commercial daycare with my two sisters. My main class is working with the toddlers up to 3 years. These children adore books. In one of my art journals i've written little poems and repeat them to the children. They seem to get a kick out of them. My sisters overheard a few and are bugging me about publishing. So any suggestions are welcome.
