About Marc Rosenthal
Marc Rosenthal has written or illustrated many books for children including First, Second, by Daniil Kharms, The Absentminded Fellow by Samuel Marshak (both Farrar, Strauss & Giroux); The Straight Line Wonder by Mem Fox ( Mondo Publishing ); Yo Aesop by Paul Rosenthal (Simon & Schuster); The Runaway Beard by David Schiller (Workman Pub); and Dig! by Andrea Zimmerman and David Clemesha (Harcourt).
His children’s books have been published in Holland, Germany, and France. He also has work in the avant guard publication Blab (#13–17), as well as Little Lit II, edited by Art Spiegelman and Francoise Mouly.
Marc has been a father for years, and has spent countless wonderful hours reading to his son, Willem. He currently lives in Lenox, Massachusetts with his wife, son and Pete the cat.
