Children’s illustrator and designer Lesley Breen Withrow is co-author of the book Illustrating Children’s Picture Books, 200 pages of art instruction and storytelling insight from international illustrators, writers, and other experts to be published around the world by RotoVision and F+W Media in December 2009.

Lesley illustrated My First Calculator Book, to be published by Tormont in early 2010. Tooth Fairy Tales, to be published by Potter Style in early 2010. Scholastic’s innovative Read and Rise e-zine will feature Lesley’s “sounds like” activity cards. Her illustrations and designs also formed the basis for a line of Experience kits from Learning Horizons.

Lesley is a former creative planner and designer for Paramount Cards. Her Louie Award-winning greeting-card work spans custom collections (including Sharing the Faith for Gartner Greetings), individual titles, and gift products. She often combines digital and traditional media and techniques in her work.

Lesley lives in Rhode Island with her husband, daughter, and a little black cat.
