Katie Pamment graduated from Falmouth College of Arts, Cornwall, with a degree in Illustration in 2002. She then spent two and a half years working for Carte Blanche Greetings Ltd, Chichester, as an in-house Illustrator ghosting the leading 'Me to You' brand as well as working on her own designs. In 2005 Katie went on to gain a Masters degree in Children's Book Illustration from the Cambridge School of Art. Katie has illustrated several books for children. She is currently working on 'The Owl and the Grandfather Clock' which is her first book as Author and is due to be published by Boxer Books next year. The story was inspired by her strong interest in wildlife and conservation. Katie lives and works in the Cairngorm National Park, Highlands of Scotland, with her cat Melu and labrador Lucy.
