Very nice work! I was just thinking last night about how often water color looks very "flat", with little contrast, and something I want to avoid in the project I'm working on. I'm in the sketch/drawing phase now, but you've proven to me that flat water colors can indeed be avoided. Thank... more

Wow! It's rare to find a woman who likes Howard Pyle illustrations! Your illustrations are reminiscent of Edmund Dulac and Heath Robinson.Very beautiful.Gotta love Arthur Rackham.I like Edward Gorey,too !

Hi Mary, You were born to illustrate fairy tales. My favorite is the Greedy Man. Beautiful color sense. I also Like how you incorporate trees into your images.
