About Jamie
Jamie Michalak is a children's book author and editor. When not working, she can usually be found playing with her two boys—marching in parades, walking planks, or singing back-up in their band. Jamie was born and raised in Springfield, Massachusetts, and grew up in the same neighborhood that Dr. Seuss once lived in. She now resides in Barrington, Rhode Island with her husband and sons.

Hi, Jamie. I am a teacher and a writer of children's books, though I have yet to get any published. I love to read Judy Moody. I teach 5th graders, but I have used parts of your books in different ways in my classroom. Thanks for writing wholesome stuff for kids!
