Charlie Poe is a published author of children's books. Charlie Poe has studied and practiced personal development for the last 15 years. He is a teacher and creator of life success programs. He teaches a program called Focus on Success at Academy Prep of Tampa, a school for socio-economic at-risk students in 5th to 8th grade.

The Focus on Success Program, co-created and co-taught by Charlie, teaches 7th graders about belief systems, vision, purpose and goal setting. Charlie serves as a board member of the Academy Prep of Tampa, the Glazer Children's Museum of Tampa and Junior Achievment of West Florida. He is a children's education advocate and is giving a portion of what he earns from his book, Life is a Playground, to non-profits that benefit children's education. His vision is to create and fund a school for at-risk 3-10 year olds that will empower and inspire them to understand their potential and live the life of their dreams using cutting-edge advanced learning techniques. His intention is that the success of the school will inspire positive changes in the public school system.

Charlie has a B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida and an MBA from IESE, an international business program in Barcelona, Spain. He also holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He has been an investment manager of an investment partnership for over 10 years.

Charlie resides in Florida with his beautiful wife, Corey and their three children, Weston, Holland and Wilson.
