Twenty-year-old Lacey and her cousin, thirteen-year-old Jillie, have discovered their magical destinies and mysterious ties to their great-grandparents' farmland. Along with discovering a mystifying mother cat and her two kittens, the girls reunite with their long lost Uncle Jake. The kittens, named Tye and Tess, are the girls' protectors and are full of surprises. Both girls take steps of faith to understand their ties to this magical land in the present and three hundred years in the past. With Jillie so young, Lacey takes on the responsibility of watching over the land. Will Lacey's life ever be normal again? How does she cope with her magical protector?
