Andrian Kieran was following in his equestrian father's Olympic-size footsteps until a tragic accident kills his horse and shatters his confidence.
When Andrian's dad accepts a job as horse trainer at a dressage farm in Illinois, Andrian and an ill-tempered stallion move with him. Andrian's plan is simply to finish high school, move on to college, forget all about riding and horse shows-but fate intervenes when Kori Mankato, the farm owner's daughter, asks Andrian to help her train to be a Three-Day Event rider.
Eventing and romance are not what Andrian's looking for, but as he trains Kori for her first event their mutual love of horses brings them closer-until the fateful day when Andrian is forced to face his deepest fears and move toward his own destiny.
