Stegosaurus was one of these - a bus sized creature with two rows of plates sticking up along its back like the frill on the spine of a legendary dragon. Besides the rows of plates on its back, stegosaurus had big spikes on its tail that look a lot like the barbs on a medieval knight's mace.
