Like Alexander Graham Bell I don't always like the ringing telephone. It can interrupt mealtimes, thinking times, and times when you just don't want to talk. Even though Bell was instrumental in the invention of the telephone, he detested its presence in his home. He often let it "ring off the hook.... more
