1) `Rider Haggard's Secret Love'
D.S. Higgins reveals how he managed to become the first writer to track down the identity of Haggard's secret love. It was with her that he believed he would be reunited after death, even though they both had married other partners.
2) `Bestseller - Rider Haggard and the Cinema
This article describes Haggard's troublesome but financially rewarding dealings with the rapidly developing film industry. The first film using material from one of his books was made in 1899 and during his lifetime there were at least 20 more. After his death, the films continued and they are, of course, still are being made.
3) `King Solomon's Mines'
This is an account of how and why Rider Haggard wrote his famous bestseller.
