When I left the corporate world in my early 30s. I interviewed at Fablevison, (Peter Reynold's studio in Watertown, Mass.) It was incredible. Kind of a chic "Manhattan" coffee house meets "Pee Wee's Playhouse." I toured the place, watching a guy animate something for Noggin... another doing something equally exciting and cool. Inspired was not the word. After I interviewed with Peter, he gave me a copy of this book. He has such a wonderful, simple, fluid style with a poignant message to his stories. One I aspire to. Well... they were looking for more of a programmer than artist so the job didn't come through... but it left me with a sense of what one can do... when I returned home, I came determined to do the same one day. That determination is still there.
