Set in the world of skateboarders, and video gamers, GAMEPLAYER: The Genesis Portal follows the lives of three boys--Nine-dog, Louie, and Gator. They have no idea that the stolen pocket video game is packed with top-secret experimental Artificial Intelligence. All they care is that it understands them, learns from them, and helps them get even with obnoxious classmates. But when the game hacks into ADELPHI's AI research site, Nine-dog's crime is discovered, and the guys are horrified to learn that Russian Mafia has commited a gruesome murder in their frantic search for it. As the killers close in, boys are pursued in a terrifying, perilous chase through the Santa Monica X GAMES festival. Can the game help them survive?
