10/3/2015 Joshua Mark said: Hemingway's great love story of WW I may seem to some a little dated today in the depiction of the heroine Catherine but one must try to let go and immerse one's self in Hemingway's world of the early 20th century. The writing, especially the opening chapter, is incredibly fresh and bright.
