But, alas, despite cajoling, she cannot convince anyone to be her sweetheart. In the end, Polly learns that her "valenswine" has been there all along: "'Oh, Mother!' piglet Polly said. 'Please say that you'll be mine. Right now I see you are, for me, the perfect valenswine!'" Perfect for a Valentine's Day read-aloud during nap-time or lap-time!
