Yet as the bequeathed cat finagles a new identity for the son-the Marquis of Carabas-that is complete with fine clothes, fields of wheat, a castle stolen from an ogre, and in the end, the respect of the king and the hand of the king's daughter, the son learns to appreciate that the greatest gifts are not always what they seem.
Cuando un molinero pobre muere y deja s�lo un gato a su hijo m�s joven, el hijo presume que la herencia no tiene ning�n valor. Pero resulta que el gato es muy listo-manipula la identidad y reputaci�n del hijo hasta que �l tiene ropa fina, campos de trigo, un castillo robado de un ogro y el t�tulo Marquess de Carabas.
