Softcover - 262 pages - Spanish and English side by side. Don Quijote - Don Quixote is a work dedicated to those who are fans of Cervantes' work and at the same time are students. It presents, in a parallel manner, the text in Spanish and its translation in English, with the goal to facilitate grammatical and lexical comparison, as there is no need to use a dictionary. This abbreviated version of El Ingenioso Hidalgo Don Quijote de La Mancha, which the reader can read without loosing the thread of the plot, has two objectives: to familiarize the readers the complete work of Cervantes, as well as the magnificent English translation by John Ormsby. An updating has been carried out with didactic purposes of certain lexical forms and expressions in both the Spanish and English texts which made comprehension of the text difficult or could lead the reader to error, but, at the same time, maintaining the rich classicism of the original text. This updating, done with profound respect to the Spanish text as well as its translation in English, only emphasises, more if possible, the magic of Cervantes' pen.
