The file cabinet containing all records of her past was destroyed in a mysterious fire. And three of Miss Quagmire's students have discovered that she has a very strange habit!

Whenever there's a full moon, Miss Quagmire sits in her attic window, staring through a telescope. She never moves, and never leaves her window. All night long, she stares through her high powered lens. Watching. Waiting.

What is she waiting for? And why does she have a hidden room in her house with a secret transmitter?

Seventh graders Ozzie, Orlando, and Anissa are determined to uncover the truth. One moonlight night their pursuit of Miss Quagmire's secret leads them to a deserted field and to the discovery of a lifetime! Soon, they find themselves in a desperate struggle on an unknown world-a world where dinosaurs still roam, and lizard-like pirates threaten a secret, underground kingdom.
