This creative teaching resource relates the stories of Jesus from John's Gospel to the Christian journey of faith and the everyday lives of children with the use of vivid road imagery. Each session is packed full of activities to help explore the theme, including crafts and prayers which can build into a giant frieze to be displayed in the church at Easter. The material is suitable for small single-age groups, as well as larger mixed groups. Two photocopiable take-home sheets help reinforce the teaching and fun, one aimed at the younger age group and one at the older. Both may be photocopied back to back if required. Intended for use in the run up to Easter, it also includes an optional session for Mothering Sunday.
