After Willard and Shaye's parents mysteriously disappear, they are sent to stay with their grandmother until their return. While exploring through their grandmothers house, they discovers their mother's old playroom. Together, they will find a secret passage to a strange new place where the people are quite different and possess unique magical powers. Little do they realize, but they are about to embark on the greatest adventure of their lives. Together, they will make new friends, fight horrible monsters and come to find out the reason for their parents unexplained disappearance.
