The Twist and Turns of Life is a book of poems that the author produces as a result of the experiences she has had and the experiences of other people that she is aware of. The Author has observed and become aware of a variety of situations in the society she lives as well as in other societies through the various Mass Media. This has enable her to write a diversity of poems in her book. Most the poems in this books were inspired. The writer did not have to make great effort in order to write them but as she writes the words just keep on flowing. These poems are practical to everyday situations and can be useful to people in all walks of life. Both literal and figurative expressions are used in this book to describe the various situations that the writer addresses. Life is a road that is full of a lot of obstacles, trials, and tribulation, fortune and misfortunes . This road is never always smooth but with hard work and dedication "bad roads"and its effect can be minimized with the help of God. Each person in this life has a purpose and was called upon earth to fulfill a task- we must always try to know our purpose and make use of all the time we have- life is very short.
