Sometimes a person has to strip away everything he has been taught, and start all over searching for the truth. In `Praying Behind the Veil', that is what Robert Massingill, Jr. has done. Much of the material content in this book is controversial. It is not meant to be argumentative, but in many instances the writer makes the attempt to create thought provoking questions to help the reader make up his or her own mind. A person needs to be grounded in the truth as they understand it, but by the same token, they sometimes should be open-minded enough to listen to the other person. The writer of this book is only requesting the reader to read it with an open mind before making a decision. What does it mean for God to be with us? What does it mean for us to be able to walk boldly into the Holy Presence of God? What does the Bible mean when it says Jesus walked into the Holy of Holies in Heaven for our behalf? What does it mean to us that Jesus is at the right had of the Father interceding for us? What is the difference between Jesus being with us through the Holy Spirit than being here on Earth in person? Does the Bible say it's God's will for his people to be financially blessed? How does the prayer that Jabez prayed fit in with the New Covenant? What does the Bible say about eternal security?
