Mattie-Jo-Calico is an intriguing story of a mystical cat born in the Egyptian Palace of King Hufu, 2,487 years ago. As a small kitten, Mattie finds herself trapped in the food storage room with a young boy who is being held captive there. Mattie spends her first 60 years living with this boy, Kutah, and during this time she discovers that she has special talents and mystical powers. Mattie learns that she has healing powers, she is able to time and space travel, she can become invisible, and she is able to accomplish `shape-shifting,' which means that she can transform to human form. Mattie's first 100 years are spent realizing, understanding, developing-or rather refining-her powers and abilities. She learns how to focus her talents and use them in a beneficial way.
