Gil Klanz, disguised as Gil Rockaway, is dispatched to Earth with his friend Larry Hall for a simple mission. The Lyons Kingdom has asked a favor of the Belt Republic. They're worried about their Crown Princess who is going to school on Earth so Gil's mission is to bring eleven-year-old Princess Corolane home to the Lyons Kingdom among Jupiter's Trojan asteroids. But Corolane doesn't want to leave Earth. That means trouble. Then the corrupt Belt Corporation attempts to kidnap her. More trouble. The B.C. wants to hold the princess hostage to force the Lyons Kingdom to side with them in their ruthless war against Gil's Belt Republic rebels. Gil is starting to realize, there's no such thing as a "simple mission."
