Dead Ball Foul is the story of Tricia, Luke, and Aaron: three teens who live in a quiet town in southwest Virginia, where the only excitement consists of the town's obsession with its high school football team. But their world turns upside down when a referee is murdered after a football game against a big rival. Unfortunately, Aaron and the ref have had a bit of an argument over a foul called on Aaron during the game. Then the murder weapon turns out to be none other than Aaron's pocket knife. Aaron is now the prime suspect in the murder and Tricia and Luke become makeshift detectives, out to prove their friend's innocence by uncovering the real killer. The pair of young sleuths soon battle the unknown in a game of cat-and-mouse, and find themselves over the uprights in danger.
