This is a hilarious collection of questions and answers asked by Mortimer himself consisting of fun rhyming text and written in poetry with a Shel Silverstein feel. This book is sure to keep your kids entertained and laughing the whole way through and is fun to read over and over again. Questions such as: What if you had a remote control for people? (who wouldn't want one of these?) What if you hear a strange noise in the tub? What if you don't clean behind your ears? What if you have to get glasses? NOTE: This is an excellent tool for Elementary teachers to use for writing prompts as well. The teacher will ask the student a what if question from the book before the children read it and after the students write their story the teacher will read Mortimer's what if to the class. Makes for a very fun activity.
