Nicholas Nichols comes to spend the summer with his Great-Aunt and -uncle who live in a small town. He becomes friends with Danny, who is a local resident and sisters Cassidy and Caitlin who moved there recently with their mother Jan Wells. The four of them look forward to a long break from school. Setting off on daily adventures they discover an interesting area in the woods, where an old abandoned building among the heavy growth of a forgotten place begins exposing a tainted past. Led by Jan they form a playgroup and prepare for the town?s big celebration. The friends become quite busy. The 40th Annual Broadway Entertainers Festival Spectacular. Everyone gets ready to mark the special anniversary. Stars from all over will gather at the original site for the much anticipated award ceremony. Included are some legendary performers, one who will be coming from London has mixed feelings about the highly publicized event. Strange items are found and odd occurrences set in motion a series of twists that has Nicholas and his companions performing in something bigger than any of them could have ever imagined. Making it a summer they will never forget.
