Kitten Tales is five short stories with kittens as the main characters. In the first story, a friendly kitten learns about shallow friendship and that nature can assist in problem solving. In the second story, a kitten finds a new home while trying to stay with her sun-warmed pumpkin. In the third story, a young girl learns that her perceived problems are suddenly minor compared to the real problems of an unwanted kitten. In the fourth story, a cat family must face an unfriendly dog, cross a very busy highway, cross a fast-moving stream, encounter a fox, and endure lack of food and other hardships as they try to reach a new home. They are stopped in their journey by a snowstorm that leaves snow too deep for the kittens to travel through. This story has a very interesting surprise ending. The fifth story contains some very important pet care information and provides a chilling mystery.
