The school bell rings for the last time, and Dinky is ready to start his summer vacation at Onondaga Cave. He rushes home with his younger brother Bubby to start packing for their trip, but the White Rhino, copperheads, caterpillars, and a neighborhood menace named Kenny make it very difficult. Just when the day can't get any worse, he is reminded of what he did to Miss Beasley, his little sister's doll. He finally gets to the camping grounds and discovers that he and the other campers are not alone. A redheaded three-eyed horsefly that he names Devil Fly has selected him and the others as torture victims. The long-awaited camping trip becomes miserable for Dinky and his friends because of the antics of the dreaded insect. Join Dinky as the misadventures continue while he and the others try to catch or kill the possessed fly.
