I would like to see these celebrities try and sell their books with a pseudo name and see how many books they sell. I contend that, much of their sales is based on the celebrity factor. I would like to see these celebrities try and sell their books with a pseudo name and see how many books they sell. I contend that, much of their sales is based on the celebrity factor. I guess, I take issue with these celebrities already have much success, and there are plenty more talented authors. I realize the publishers are interested in sales and profits and thus, the stars continue to make children's books. That's it enough of my rants. I'm an illustrator anyways.. and I'm sure I'm being a hypocrit... because if John Lithgow, Jamie Lee Curtis or Whoopi Goldberg came to me to illustrate their next book, I'd do it in a heartbeat.
