News from the Colony Outpost informing them that the University is about to uproot The Big Tree has caused a panic. Roscoe, a liberal hot-head, is fanning the flames of the unrest, crying for them to storm the University themselves. Omar sends for Scotty, who has been like a son to him, and commissions him to settle the issue. Scotty knows the University; he spent a whole semester there as the pet of a law student and brought back much wisdom and knowledge to his community.
