A collection of stories told by Hobnobbin, first one about Jacques and Pierre, two elf brothers who find themselves in a far off part of the world, inhabited only by The Big Ones. They do not interact with The Big Ones, in fact they stay hidden from them and they are lonely for some of their own kind. Inspired by a song, Jacques heard in a dream, only a few words that he could remember but they went something like this - "All roads lead to love they say
We share our different ways to the place
The place where we come from".

When they heard The Big Ones planning a long voyage, they thought this was the Answer, they would go with The Big Ones as stowaways and maybe find the place where they came from.

After a long, exciting and sometimes dangerous trip where they encountered rough water, rapids and big animals called bears, they finally arrived here in the beautiful forest on the shores of Lake Gamoonishkin, and this is where they settled. It was a challenge for them but they made friends with all the birds and animals, especially the Bald Eagle. When they told him of their search for other elves, he offered to help and by the following spring, they had their new friends.

From then on, life became more exciting and interesting and they were always hopeful they would find where they came from. They often remembered the words to the song. Many elves came to live here and they called this place The Lake Gamoonishkin Elf Settlement. Everyone who came had something new and different to offer and they all learned from each other.

Future stories will tell you about their adventures and how their life was finally fulfilled.
