The inspiration for this story came about at a neighborhood gathering. A young girl asked if she could go through the rooms of my home to look for an angel she had seen on my rooftop. Amused with her request, I granted her wish. While she searched, her mother told me that for some months her daughter had talked of seeing an angel perched on my rooftop. Unknown to them, my husband had been diagnosed with cancer and we had been going through a difficult time. Years have since passed and my husband is healthy. Truly, there must be an angel watching over us. Amber’s neighbor, Mr. Moore, has an angel perched on his rooftop. Intrigued with the sight, Amber pays the angel a visit and the two become friends.
