Little Mouse is an endearing, rhyming story about a young mouse who misinterprets her mother's admonition to quiet down and stop squeaking. Believing she has to find a new sound to make, Little Mouse seeks advice from other animals (e.g., Little Bird tells her tweet, Little Hound tells her to woof, etc.). Eventually, Little Mouse returns home more confused than ever! In the end, her mother explains that as a little mouse, she is meant to squeak, and assures her that she is special just the way she is. Little Mouse is most appropriate for children 3 to 7 years of age.
