And it's also about the wondrous light that shines in everything when you love with all your heart -- even after the one you love is gone. Although Shekinah is old and Maddie is not yet four, the shine in their eyes is the same. Maddie's grandfather notices this, as through the seasons he watches the bond between girl and horse grow stronger and stronger. One day, Shekinah performs an amazing act of love for Maddie.
